I ate them for the first time and this wonderful young lady named Micaela really helped me out ordering and was overall very kind and amazing experience 10/10
I wanted to leave a 4, but it had nothing to do with the service or the experience. Just upset they don't put lettuce tomato feta on the classic Olga anymore. Corporations tryna pinch Pennie's smh. Anyway.. walked in, there was four separate groups waiting in the lobby. The music is not too loud and upbeat. We waited about two minutes to be greeted (but all the people in the lobby were to go orders). We got seated, and was greeted about 30 seconds later by our server, Essence, who said she would be with us shortly. She came back to greet us, and introduced herself, and took our order. Our salads came out within 5 to 7 minutes, soup came out a couple minutes later, and our food came out another 5 to 7 minutes later. The server was cool and laid-back and helpful.
Hubby had a yen for some snackers, so we went to the only place you can get them - Olga's Kitchen! We dined in, and service was good. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable; she made sure to put our to-go dessert order in so that it arrived with our bill at the end of the meal. Hubby got the app trio and, in addition to the addictive snackers, he got zucchini fries and wings. Both were delicious. I ordered the Olga's Cuban sandwich with fries - also delish!
Good service, food quality has gone up significantly in the last year. They have really improved things here!
When you want snackers, you want snackers! Twice a year I get a hankerin' for some, so I placed a carry out order over the phone. They have no one answering phones, so AI takes your order. The AI lady asked if I wanted a side or a basket of snackers, but got flummoxed when I asked for extra almond cheese. My order was ready on time, but I got there early, and the girl stationed at the carry out counter was very friendly & helpful. She kept an eye on the progress of my order. The floor in the waiting area, however, was quite sticky and that dismayed me a little, but rest of the dining area looked clean and well kept. My snackers and 3-cheese gyro tasted exactly how I wanted them too.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the snackers. It's a perfect blend of like sweet bread and butter with spice. They never disappoint.
We have been Olga aficionados since they were in the mall back in the 80's. Many things have changed since then, but not the wonderful taste of an original Olga. The latest change involves the suspension of table service. It works like a fast food joint. Just yummier! I'm merely thankful they've stayed open. I always recommend the Olga's Perfect Pair meal. 1/2 of a Classic Olga and two sides. Being a stir crazy fanatic over the Peasant soup, both of my sides are this soup. It's so good I wonder if it's legal. Lol! This location is at Twelve mile rd. & Southfield rds. The crew here are polite. It's not the biggest parking area, but the place is clean and the food is great. 11/20
